127 Hours

127 hours. That’s what I have — give or take an hour — to finish revising Baby Grand.

About five days of massaging and laying and fixing and praying. I posted on Twitter the other day that I had actually read through an entire chapter of my novel without changing a single word. Yippee! It was especially thrilling after spending so much time on Chapter 1. Revising brings with it its own set of challenges. Sure, you don’t have the blank pages in front of you — and thank goodness for that — but expectations are stepped up (at least mine are anyway) in that you can’t put off “fixing” things for a later date. This is it. (Make no mistake where you are.) Let the crunch time begin.
